South Perth Chiropractor: Steve Ince

Hi, my name is Steve Ince, and my passion is helping people to live healthier, happier, longer and more energetic lives! I do this is by improving the function of the spine and nervous system through Chiropractic, and by showing how simple changes in the way we eat, move and think enable the body to function better.
I treat a wide range of clients, from newborn babies to elderly people, and many people in between. I have treated many high level sports people, from professional surfers and bodyboarders, to cyclists, mixed martial artists and rowers, as well as people who sit at a desk all day, people who work outdoors such as in construction or on the mines, women having babies (pre, during and post pregnancy), and children.
I chose to become a Chiropractor because of the enormous health benefits I received from regularly seeing a Chiropractor as a child. I used to suffer from various allergies and other health problems. While other methods and treatments had all failed, my health vastly improved with Chiropractic treatments. I graduated with Masters in Chiropractic from Macquarie University in Sydney in 2005, after having completed Bachelor of Science at UWA.
I started out as a Chiropractor right here at the South Perth Chiropractic Centre, back in 2005, where I spent more than two years learning and mastering the art of chiropractic. Then I left to travel the world with my wife, Caroline. We drank tea in China, did yoga in an ashram in India, cruised the Greek Islands and Turkey, ate pizza in Italy, drank wine in France, surfed in Portugal and attended a wedding in Ireland. Following a stint working as a Chiropractor in Dublin, we are happy to be back in sunny Perth.
I am especially happy to be returning to South Perth Chiropractic Centre. I am grateful to be working at a place that motivates me to be the best I can be and where I look forward to coming in to work everyday. I thank the staff for this as well as the people who come in to see us. There is a general feeling that everyone here is focused on living healthy and happy lives.
As a Chiropractor, I am constantly looking for way to do things better. Since I graduated, I estimate that I have completed over 25 full weekend seminars, as well as multiple single day events, and a two week intensive training course. As a result of this, I am fully qualified in Applied Kinesiology, Sacro Occipital Technique and full body adjusting, as well as being a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming. I am currently studying to be recognised as a Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner, through the International Chiropractors Association. I am also always looking to improve my skills and knowledge by reading at least one book a week, listening to audio programs and doing video seminars. Health, learning about it, living it, helping others achieve it, is my passion!
I also write a blog about easy ways to live a healthier life by doing what your body is designed to do. If we do the right things, we tend to get better results with less effort. You can check that out at http://www.drsteveince.com . I have also created a comprehensive spinal exercise video program for people who sit at a desk all day called NeckWorks.
Outside of Chiropractic, Caroline and I live in Scarborough, which is also where I grew up. In my spare time, I surf and train martial arts, and I’m always keen to try new things. This year I have set myself the challenge to learn to kite surf, so I can make the most of the Freo Doctor!
People choose Chiropractic for many reasons. Whatever reasons that you are thinking of, I’m sure that we can work together to achieve your health goals. Many people find that getting themselves checked makes it much easier to make informed decisions about their health. So if there is anything I can do to help you, please contact the clinic on 9474 1955 or email me on the link below.
