Introducing Dr Michael Brett

Dr Michael Brett
I had such amazing changes in my health from my first few adjustments that the decision to study chiropractic was easy. Initially I saw a chiropractor for a neck strain at the age of thirteen, and soon discovered the benefits were far greater. Amazingly my hay fever was eliminated and my weekly headaches disappeared! I was so impressed that I structured my subjects with the physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics to study chiropractic at university. Unfortunately a rather liberal dose of immaturity resulted in less than adequate marks. So it was off to the workforce for me.

So once again I found myself at the chiropractor’s office. Three adjustments later, my bronchitis was gone! This healing miracle drove me with a passion back to university to study chiropractic. My new found academic incentive and commitment earned me the top student for the year. That was a great launch into the five year chiropractic degree, and demonstrated how anyone can achieve anything, given a clear objective.

I love being a chiropractor. It is a privilege to help people in such a powerful way.  We make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and attempt to over communicate. I find that patients appreciate that.

Our philosophy is based on the concept that a proactive approach is more sensible than a reactive one. We want to inspire and lead people to be healthier, better human beings. Not just to avoid getting sick, but because they want to be healthy and well, and want to get the most out of life!

Dr. Mike Asks some important questions of interest to South Perth residents - Chiropractor South Perth Dr. Mike Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Can babies with colic be helped with chiropractic?
It's probably one of the times a parent feels the most helpless. But based on the research, chiropractic and colic relief appear to go hand in glove. With success rates in the mid-90% range, more and more South Perth parents are seeing a chiropractor. If you have a baby with colic learn how chiropractic may help.
